How can I learn French in Inflexyon ?

With Inflexyon, you can start your French course in Lyon whenever you want. Our French courses start on every Monday (except for school holidays). If you are a complete beginner, we recommend you to start your course at the beginning of each monthly session. Check our calendar with monthly sessions and holidays dates.

We propose 3 main types of French courses in Lyon:

Personalized Intensive French course (30 lessons per week, Monday – Friday)

– 15 general French lessons (10:00 – 12:30): in groups, classes on grammar and all general competences

– 10 workshop lessons (13:30 – 15:00): in groups, to go deeper in the learning of French vocabulary and culture, phonetics, speaking, writing

– 5 private lessons : individual lesson with a professor 100% adapted to your needs and wishes

Intensive French course (27 lessons per week, Monday – Friday)

– 15 general French lessons (10:00 – 12:30): in groups, classes on grammar and all general competences

– 10 workshop lessons (13:30 – 15:00): in groups, to go deeper in the learning of French vocabulary and culture, phonetics, speaking, writing

– 2 tutoring lessons (9:15 – 10:00): in groups, twice a week, you can ask questions about homework or anything you misunderstood during the classes 

Semi-intensive French course (17 lessons per week, Monday – Friday)

– 15 general French lessons (10:00 – 12:30): in groups, classes on grammar and all general competences

– 2 tutoring lessons (9:15 – 10:00): in groups, twice a week, you can ask questions about homework or anything you misunderstood during the classes

We also propose other types of French courses in Lyon such as evening courses, private French course, au-pair course.

Of course. For those who are “fille au-pair” or students at universities or other institutions, you may take an “au-pair” French course. It is a “semi-flexible” class where you can take 12 lessons of French course of your choice per week with 2 group tutoring lessons. The French classes are held between 9h15 and 15h.

If you want a complete flexibility, we recommend you to take “A la carte” French classes. You will buy a card including 8 lessons (compulsory for the first registration) and use them whenever you are available. Once you use your 8 lessons, you can add a number of lessons that you wish (1, 2, … even  20 lessons, there will be no restriction). The French classes are held between 9h15 and 15h in our French school in Lyon. Please, note that we do not recommend this option to A1 and A2 level students.

Yes, you can contact administration team or visit us in person to organise your individual French classes in Lyon, adapted to your schedule and your needs. You can tell us what you would like to study and we will organize your French course accordingly. During your private French lessons, you can also focus on French for specific purposes such as medical French, business French, French for tourisme, French exam preparation, etc.

We open French evening courses in small groups (3 to 10 students) in September, January and April. The French evening classes take place once per week from 7pm to 8:30pm. The inscriptions are per trimestre. Do not hesitate to contact us for more details.

No, you don’t need to buy or bring any textbooks. Our French teachers have a big library and they prepare original French lessons adapted to students needs. They provide the photocopies of the teaching materials during the classes. They also use a lot of authentic supports (videos, newspapers, table games, etc) to make learning French more fun and more efficient.

Yes, at least twice a month, after French lessons, Inflexyon offers a cultural activity : visit of historical sites and museums in Lyon, pique-nique, pétanque, parties (Halloween, Christmas, Carnaval, etc). As you already know, participating in cultural activities is one of the easiest way to learn French in France!

You can learn French online with our E-learning French course! You will have a full access to French learning platform during 6 months. This will cost you 60 euros. Whenever and wherever, if you have an internet connection, you can learn French online, easily and efficiently.
